ADULT EDUCATION BUSINESS PLAN IN NIGERIA

Name: Belstein Educational Consult

Start-up year: 2012

Ownership type: Sole proprietor/partnership

Industry: Education and Training

The Business

We’re an education and training organization that helps people (adults) learn new skills and gain the knowledge they need to succeed in life. Nigeria is a country of over 170 million people, and many are looking for ways to improve their lives. Year in, and year out, the government implement programs to provide free classes for children and young adolescents.

Unfortunately, only limited opportunity is opened to adults who also desire to be educated. Thus, Bello Samson founded Belstein Educational Consult seeing the need for more education in the area of adult personal development and social skills. Since then, Belstein has grown into a leading provider of educational services for adults offering education programs in both English and Igbo languages.

At Belstein, we believe that education is an important part of an individual’s development process and should be accessible to everyone. We also know that traditional schools often overlook adults because they are seen as a burden or expense rather than an asset. We want to give people like these the chance to learn new things while also improving their social skills and self-esteem to succeed later in life. Our business plan focuses on creating awareness and educating people about the value of education.

We create a website where people can find information about our programs and services. The website will also serve as a platform for peer-to-peer sharing of information and resources related to education in Nigeria.

Our goal

We want to change the world by helping people achieve their full potential. That’s why we’ve created an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and safe while learning something new. We want you to feel like part of our family – whether because we love your sense of humour (we do!), or because we think your ideas are revolutionary (they are!). You can expect the same high-quality service from all of us at Belstein. To meet this goal, we have four core values: passion, empathy, collaboration, and integrity. Our passion is what drives us every day; it is what keeps us going when things get tough or frustrating.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see every adult go to school, and we believe everyone deserves an opportunity to learn. We provide school supplies, books, uniforms, teacher training, counselling services, and parent education.
